Sunday mornings at 11.00 are the time when we gather together as family to worship God…and we’re still doing so, even during the pandemic and the lockdown that we need to go through to deal with it. We meet through Zoom, which you can join online, or by phone if you don’t have internet access. Despite the physical distance bewten us, it’s still a time to focus our hearts and minds on Him, and express our praise and thanks for all that God is and all that He has done for us through His Son Jesus. It’s a time to bring our concerns to God in prayer. It’s a time to hear Him speak to us. And it’s a time to share together and to build each other up in our life and walk with Him. So in our worship services on a Sunday we sing, both older and more recent hymns and songs, we pray, we read God’s word, the Bible, and we hear a talk to help us apply it to our lives. At the moment we can’t get to gather together afterwards over tea and coffee, but we stick around for a chat and a laugh, and we still aim to encourage each other. It doesn’t matter whether you’re already a follower of Jesus or whether you just want to come along and think about life and faith, you’ll be very welcome.
For the next few weeks we’re going to be thinking about how to live wisely and well, and how the real source of that can only be found in Jesus. If you want to join us, get in touch with David at firstname.lastname@example.org, and he’ll send you a link.
