Messy Church begins

We  invite you to                                                                                  Messy Church                                                             Sunday  25th March, 4.00 pm

Messy Church is a church experience for all ages, with lots of crafts, play, worship and food, and we think about some of the big question of life and how God makes sense of them. This is our very first Messy Church, and we’d love you to join us, whether you go to church regularly or whether you’ve never been before. We start at 4.00 pm and spend time doing crafts and games and then have a short worship time. The whole event will run till about 5.30. This is our first Messy Church, so we’ve chosen the theme of Beginning, and we’re going to think about the Bible story of how God made the world and what that means for us today.

Messy Church is for families and not just for children, so the idea is that children come with parents, grandparents or carers. We realise that lots of people can’t come to church on a Sunday morning, and lots of people find the formal style of church a bit dull or difficult. So Messy Church is at a time which we hope will suit families better – after a day chilling or a trip out somewhere perhaps, and finishing in time to get all ready for school the next day – and in a form that involves doing things together.

Everyone is welcome to come and join us, whether you go to church somewhere or whether you never go at all.
